Affordable Therapy at Statera

Therapy should be within reach.

We understand that starting therapy is not always easy, especially when cost is a concern. Insurance coverage may be limited or unavailable, and everyday expenses can make it difficult to prioritize your mental health.

Why Consider Affordable Therapy?

Quality support that fits your needs and your budget.

Reduced-Cost Support

Access counselling services at a lower rate, making therapy more manageable for your budget.

Ongoing Supervision

Student therapists receive regular guidance and supervision from experienced registered psychotherapists throughout their clinical work.

Graduate-Level Training

Work with a student therapist who is completing advanced education and clinical training in psychotherapy.

A Supportive Place to Start

Affordable therapy can be a way to begin accessing mental health support without the higher cost of standard therapy rates.

What Does Working With a Student Therapist Mean?

From training to therapy, you’ll have support throughout the process.

1

Advanced Clinical Training

Student therapists are completing graduate-level education and supervised clinical training as part of their path toward professional registration.

2

Supervised Clinical Care

At Statera, student therapists do not work independently. Their clinical work is completed with ongoing supervision from registered social workers/psychotherapists, who provide guidance and support throughout their training.

3

Continued Learning

Student therapists continue developing their therapeutic skills through education, clinical experience, supervision, and working directly with clients.

4

Professional Support at a Lower Cost

Working with a student therapist can provide an opportunity to access compassionate, professional counselling at a more affordable rate while the therapist continues their clinical training.
